Jas & Jacks Homemade Doggie Shampoo

Jasmine
Jack

This doggie shampoo is Excellent for keeping the pH balance in check by preserving the skins natural oils that protect it. It's the perfect blend for dry skin, skin allergies, itchy skin and sensitive skin. This is the only shampoo that Jasmine a Shih Tzu, and Jack, half Chiwuwa, half Pekingese, can use to keep them from itching due to dry skin, sensitive skin and skin allergies. Nothing else on the market works. Cortisone shots work for awhile, but there are dangers in using this type of anti-itch prevention.

Cortisone remains in the dog's system from 8 to 12 weeks after the injection. However, the dog may begin itching again--or experiencing pain associated with arthritis--as the levels of cortisone decrease, but are still present in her system.

Cortisone causes increased thirst and increased urination in most dogs. It may also cause increased appetite, depression, hyperactivity, panting and diarrhea. Long term affects the dog's liver, pancreas and adrenal glands. It also suppresses the dog's immune system.

Jas and Jack's homemade doggie shampoo is all natural, gentle and leaves their coat soft and shiny, and best of all it works. NO MORE Itching, No More dry skin. You and your doggies will love it, Guaranteed!

You Will Need:

2 cups Ivory Dish Soap
2 cups apple cider vinegar
1 cup of glycerine or vegetable oil
1 cup Pure olive oil
1 cup aloe vera gel
1 cup Water

Combine the above ingredients and store in airtight containers. Rinse well and save some of your own old shampoo bottles for your dog's shampoo. You can also get a few bottles from the dollar store if necessary.

Finishing Rinse

This finishing vinegar rinse will add a nice shine to the coat plus retain the acid mantle or the skins natural protective barrier.

Combine 3 cups of warm water with 1/4 cup of organic apple cider vinegar. Gently rinse avoiding the eyes.

Helpful Tips: To avoid soap getting into the dog's eyes, some experts recommend rubbing a small amount of petroleum jelly around the eyes. Try a petroleum-free equivalent.

Natural Flea Preventives

Apple cider vinegar makes a good flea preventive. Mix with water in a clean spray bottle, about half and half. Spray on your pet daily. Pay special attention to behind the ears and the base of the tail.

Pure organic neem oil repels fleas and treats skin conditions like mange and fungus. It also strengthens the immune system and gives your pet a healthy, shiny coat.

Mix Pure organic neem oil into your dog shampoo at a rate of 1 to 5 ml for every 100 ml of shampoo. Use less if your dog does not have any problems, and more if it does.

Always prepare neem shampoo freshly, and use it immediately. Once neem oil is dissolved in water it starts breaking down. Keep the solution for no more than eight hours.
